Reet Maff’l’s Introduction of The (Your) Mind - Part One was originally performed as part of Word Gulch at the Barbican’s Curve space, 2016, as part of a evening of responses to Bedwyr Williams show The Gulch.

Touching on ideas of pseudo-science, cults, and the world of self-help cassettes – which provide alternative solutions for how to live your life – this single, long-form performance is a semi-improvised and recorded spoken word and synth guide to unlocking the parts of your mind that other art forms just can’t reach.
